Mower Bogging Down & Losing Power

If your lawn mower bogs down or loses power while mowing, check engine RPM, fuel delivery, air flow and ignition along with the load from the deck and blades. Determine whether the engine itself is losing power or the mower is being overloaded before replacing parts.
